Maryland’s unemployment rate is at a new all-time low. Figures released by the U.S. Labor Department today show the state gained 48-hundred jobs in March and the jobless rate dropped two-tenths of one percent to two-point-seven percent. That’s the lowest rate on record. The private education and health services sector saw the most growth last month with an increase of 16-hundred jobs. The leisure and hospitality industry was next, adding 15-hundred positions.
