MOORE SIGNS BILLS INTO LAW

Dozens of bills have been signed into law by Governor Wes Moore.  They include the SERVE Act, establishing a service-year option program for Maryland high school graduates.  The governor also signed the state’s 63-billion-dollar fiscal year 2024 budget.  Education spending totals about eight-point-seven-billion dollars, including nearly one-billion dollars earmarked for the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future fund for public education.
