The city of Keyser plans to auction off a piece of property where Faulk Brothers Scrap Yard currently sits. The family, according to City Administrator Jeff Broadwater, would like to cease operations; the city owns the property, and the council wants to put the land up for bid. Three or four different businesses are interested in the property. The city expects an $80,000 minimum bid, with $50,000 going to the Faulks and $30,000 to the city of Keyser.
