GOVERNOR ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF E.B.T. REIMBURSEMENT

Governor Moore has announced an expansion of the state’s plan to replace food and cash assistance funds stolen from EBT cards. Under newly signed legislation cardholders may reclaim benefits that were stolen as early as January 1st, 2021. The law allocates one-point-eight-million-dollars in general funds to reimburse adults and families whose claims had been denied. Before the legislation was signed into law only benefits dating to October of 2022 could be reimbursed.
