A new poll shows a majority of Marylanders approve of Governor Wes Moore’s job performance. The Goucher College survey shows Moore’s approval rating is 53 percent, while 26 percent disapprove and 20 percent aren’t sure about the new Democratic governor. The poll gives Moore a 75 percent approval rating from Democrats, 41 percent from independent voters and 25-percent from Republicans. Forty-seven percent of residents say Maryland is headed in the right direction, while 42 percent say it’s on the wrong track.
