The State Highway Administration is closing the shoulders of I-68 in Garrett County in both directions, beginning today at milepost 17.5. The closures are needed so that crews can safely repair a pipe that carries Spiker Run. Crews will work from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, weather permitting, until completed. The work is expected to continue through summer.
