The campaign for state Senator Mike Stuart to become the West Virginia’s Attorney General is official off the ground. The former U.S. Attorney made the official announcement yesterday. One of his GOP challengers is fellow state Senator Ryan Weld. Current AG Patrick Morrisey is running for governor in 2024. Stuart ran the Trump campaign in the state in 2016, and was at one time the chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party.
