RIGHT TO ORGANIZE LEGISLATION PASSES PA. HOUSE

A measure that would change the Pennsylvania constitution to allow workers the right to organize is now on its way to the state Senate. Currently, the Pennsylvania Constitution does not guarantee workers the right to organize and collectively bargain. H.B. 950 proposes to amend Article I of the constitution to guarantee those rights. To be adopted, constitutional amendments must pass both chambers of the General Assembly in two consecutive sessions. They can then go before the voters for approval or rejection.
