A new report says Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks will launch a bid for Senate this week. Sources tell Time that Alsobrooks plans to announce her campaign in a video on Tuesday, followed by a rally on Wednesday. Alsobrooks would become the fourth Democrat to declare their candidacy after Maryland Senator Ben Cardin said last week that he would not be seeking reelection in 2024. The other candidates are Maryland Representative David Trone, Montgomery County Councilman Will Jawando and political activist Jerome Segal.
