NOAA PREDICTS NEAR-NORMAL’23 HURRICANE SEASON

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is predicting a “near-normal” 2023 Atlantic hurricane season. The official government forecast calls for 12 to 17 named storms, with five to nine hurricanes and one to four major hurricanes of Category 3 or higher. Hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th.
