James Taylor is being forced to postpone several upcoming shows after coming down with an illness. On Instagram, the singer shared he has a “severe case of laryngitis” and is being instructed to rest his voice. He added that pushing his shows back isn’t something he’s taking lightly but if he doesn’t take the days off he could risk permanent damage. The affected shows were scheduled to take place in Huntsville, Alabama; Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mt Pleasant, Michigan. They shows have been moved to August. Taylor’s tour is set to run until September.
