GOVERNOR ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN TO CLOSE DIGITAL DIVIDE

Governor Wes Moore has launched the Maryland ActNow Campaign in an effort to close the state’s digital divide.  The governor and leadership from non-profit EducationSuperHighway say the campaign works to increase enrollment in the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program. The governor says his administration is working to ensure that every Marylander has access to affordable and reliable internet. Moore says the discounts offered under the program and the investments that are being made will expand opportunities for residents across the state.
