JOHNS HOPKINS STUDY REVEALS MISDIAGNOSES LEAD TO DEATH OR DISABILITY

A new report from Johns Hopkins University says nearly 800-thousand Americans die or become disabled each year after being misdiagnosed.  The report says patients are being diagnosed with the wrong conditions across a range of healthcare settings each year.  The researchers estimate about 370-thousand of those patients die from their misdiagnosis, while more than 420-thousand wind up permanently disabled.
