A former Bedford County I.T. employee has been sentenced to up to 23 months for sexually assaulting a student. Jarrod Clapper was convicted in April on charges of institutional sexual assault and unlawful contact with a minor; the incident happened at the Bedford Area High School. Police say Clapper had engaged in sexual activity with a teenage female student; they discovered several sexually explicit messages between them.
