There will be at least two more weeks of contract negotiations between the Communications Workers of America and Frontier Communications. A strike was avoided over the weekend when the two sides agreed to keep talking. The current contract was extended until August 19th. Job security and benefits remain the two points that have yet to be agreed upon in the new contract.
