One of the items on the agenda for this week’s special session in West Virginia is to make Summersville Lake a State Park. Both the House and the Senate have been discussing the bill originally proposed by the governor. Once signed, Summersville Lake will become the state’s 36th State Park. The last time West Virginia had a new state park was more than three decades ago.
