TWO KILLED IN SLANESVILLE CRASH

The West Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on Route 29 near Slanesville on Tuesday. Eight-six-year-old Augusta resident Robert Golightly was driving south, when his truck went across the center line, striking a vehicle, driven by Paw Paw resident Charlotte Blundon; both she and her passenger, Slanesville resident John Gallagher, were killed in the crash. Golightly was taken to a hospital in Fairfax for treatment. The investigation is continuing.
