The Maryland State Police helicopter conducted a rescue Tuesday evening in Morgan County, West Virginia, as a young woman’s car plunged off a cliff above the Cacapon River. The injured 19-year-old was trapped in her vehicle, after it traveled off the road, and rolled down a 70-foot embankment. She was rescued and flown to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment.
