Seventeen local projects are being considered for a total of a million dollars in Program Open Space Funding. A new playground surface has been recommended for the Gene Mason Sporting Complex. The Potomac Valley Athletic Association is looking to resurface fields and upgrade buildings. And, additional funding was requested for the Miner’s Memorial, along the Great Allegany Passage, among other projects.
