The thought of leaving the Democratic Party is more than just a fleeting thought for Senator Joe Manchin. Manchin says he has given it serious thought and is thinking about it more and more often. The Senator says he can’t really support the Republicans or Democrats at this time, and he does think a strong third-party candidate for president would help one side or the other in 2024.
