Allegany County Board of Education member David Bohn calls math statistics from the latest round of testing, “disheartening.” Results of testing under the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program for English Language Arts and mathematics were released during this week’s Board meeting. Scores for the local and state averages at all grade levels in math ranged from 6 per cent to 41 per cent proficient.
