BEDFORD COUNTY WOMAN HELD WITHOUT BOND

Cumberland Valley resident Melissa Suder is being held without bail, after an altercation led to shots being fired at Pennsylvania State troopers Friday evening. Police says she got into an argument with several people inside her home, when she got a gun and started shooting. As State Police arrived on the scene, she began shooting in their direction. She faces a host of charges, including attempted criminal homicide, seven felony counts of attempted murder of law enforcement, along with 22 counts of simple assault, 11 counts of reckless endangerment, among others. She has a preliminary hearing on August 30th.
