The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has “conditionally granted (Garrett) County’s exception request” to replace a bridge on Swallow Falls Road in the state-designated Youghiogheny Scenic and Wild River Corridor. The county’s application included construction of an approximately 35-foot wide bridge on an offset alignment in the area of the existing bridge.
