MARYLAND GAS PRICES HIGHER

Maryland gas prices are higher.  Triple-A reports the state average is three-81.  That’s two cents higher than a week ago and 16 cents more than a month ago.  Analysts say the potential for hurricane development and forecasts of an expanding heat dome over Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas next week could push prices higher.  That’s because refineries in those states may have to curb production to deal with soaring temperatures.
