THREE RESCUED FROM KEYSER FIRE

Three people were rescued from a Fort Avenue fire in Keyser this past weekend, and two police officers, Officers Hymes and Rice, are being credited for rescuing them. Two were flown by helicopter for treatment and a third was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Firefighters from both Allegany and Mineral Counties responded, and the West Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
