Pittsburgh resident Michael James Connolly has been charged with first and second-degree assault, following an incident in the 100-block of Baltimore Avenue on Tuesday. An argument between Connolly and another person escalated into a physical confrontation. The victim was able to escape and call 911 for help. Connolly was located and taken into custody. He was to have received an initial appearance in Allegany County District Court.
