Mineral County is looking into the possibility of placing a tax levy on the ballot to upgrade and construct recreational parks there. Four public meetings have been scheduled to discuss a possible one per cent levy on property taxes. The proposal would include the acquisition of land for park construction and upgrades of Larenim Park in the Burlington area. Meetings have been scheduled next month, with some having a virtual option.
