FISH KILLED IN DECKER’S CREEK

Biologists with the Department of Environmental Protection are trying to determine what was the cause of an acute fish kill in Deckers Creek.  The event appears to have happened several days ago, based on the decomposition of the dead fish.  Whatever it was, it is not ongoing, as there are other fish still alive in the waters, which feed into the Monongahela River.  The kill included several different species and sizes of fish.
