There’s another sign that Maryland’s job market is remaining strong. The U.S. Labor Department reports fewer Marylanders sought unemployment benefits last week. The number of new claims fell by more than 440, to around 19-hundred. Nationally, initial filings for jobless benefits fell by four-thousand, to 228-thousand.
