ELDERLY MAN DIES FROM BURNS SUSTAINED ON TUESDAY

Ninety-three-year-old Charles “Bill” Armstrong died yesterday from injuries sustained on Tuesday, while burning brush at his Long Hill Drive property in Rawlings. Armstrong, who was the former manager of the Greater Cumberland Regional Airport, died after he became trapped, and suffered first, second and third-degree burns to his body. He was flown to the Burn Center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center by the Maryland State Police helicopter.
