NEW JERSEY RESIDENTS IN CUSTODY ON DRUG CHARGES

New Jersey residents Christine Kramer and Sean Donaghy were arrested following a traffic stop near Cumberland early yesterday morning. Allegany County Sheriff’s Deputy K-9 Udo is being given credit for the bust, as he indicated a positive alert to narcotics in the vehicle. A search revealed a large amount of suspected fentanyl, which was mixed with xylazine, otherwise known as “Tranq.” That mixture places users at a higher risk of drug poisoning; because xylazine is not an opioid, Narcan does not reverse its effects. Both Ms. Kramer and Donaghy were to have received an initial appearance.
