UMD ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR NEW COVID-19 POLICY

The University of Maryland is taking steps to keep COVID-19 away from its campus.  New policies require all students and faculty to be tested regularly for the coronavirus.  Free self-test kits are available at the University Health Center.  In the meantime, proof of vaccination is not required on school grounds.  Anyone that tests positive must isolate off-campus or at their personal home.  Students may return to class on day six of isolation only if they have no symptoms for 24-hours and test negative.  You can find out more information at the UMD website.
