CDC RECOMMENDS FALL COVID-19 BOOSTER

The CDC recommends anyone over the age of six should take the newest COVID-19 booster shot as cases increase across Maryland.  As of August 1st, 134 people in Maryland were hospitalized for the virus.  Today, the number is almost 300.  State health officials say most of the people in the hospital are either unvaccinated, elderly, or have secondary medical conditions.  Most insurance plans cover the shots at no cost.
