MARYLAND IN TOP FIVE OF “HAPPIEST STATES”

Utah ranks as the happiest state in the U.S.  That’s according to a new study from WalletHub.  The personal finance website says the study considered 30 key metrics ranging from the depression rates and the share of adults feeling productive to income and the unemployment rate.  Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota and New Jersey round out the rest of the top five.  West Virginia ranks as the least happy state in the country.
