Maryland is making a huge investment to prevent crashes and eliminate road deaths. Governor Moore announced over 11-and-a-half-million-dollars in federal highway safety grants on Tuesday. The funds will be distributed to 85 organizations, programs and agencies statewide. Funds will be used to help increase safety for pedestrians, support police training for highway traffic enforcement and much more. You can find a full list of highway safety grant awardees on the state’s website.
