Augusta resident Hugh Kendall Shumaker, also known as “Kenny,” was sentenced to a 13-year prison term on drug trafficking and firearms charges in U.S. District Court. He was charged with methamphetamine trafficking and “possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.” A search of his home yielded meth, 31 firearms, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and cash.
