BOMB THREAT INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

The investigation into Thursday’s bomb threat at the Allegany County Courthouse is continuing by several law enforcement agencies. A threat was called in at about 8:30 a.m., and the building was immediately evacuated. After about 90-minutes, the “all-clear” was given, with nothing dangerous or suspicious found. The investigation is ongoing, and any tips should be directed to CrimeSolvers, or you can also Submit A Tip on the Allegany County Sheriff’s app. The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office was the lead agency in this incident, and they would like to thank the Cumberland City and Maryland State Police for their assistance.
