MOORE RELEASES STATEMENT ON STATE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS

Governor Moore is thanking State Superintendent of Schools Mohammed Choudhury for his service to Maryland.  Superintendent Choudhury has decided not to seek another term after his contract ends next June.  The governor noted how Choudhury led the Department of Education through the pandemic.  Governor Moore is calling on the board to find a new leader who’s committed to both transparency and accountability.
