Conde Nast Traveler has released its annual Readers Choice Awards, and two area cities made the top ten list of Best Small Cities in America. Alexandria came in at number-three on the list, cited for its historic district. Annapolis came in ninth, for its own historic character, the US Naval Academy, and its location on the Chesapeake Bay.
