Sawyer Brown is teaming up with one of their biggest celebrity fans to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Their documentary “Get Me to the Stage On Time” premiered last week at the Nashville Film Festival and their new album “Desperado Troubadours” is set to be released on March 8th. Blake Shelton, who said “Sawyer Brown defined ’90s country,” is an executive producer for the movie and is producing the album. Sawyer Brown singer Mark Miller says it was his daughter’s idea to involve Shelton in the projects. Miller’s daughter, Madison Brown, owns a production company and with her father’s blessing, wrote, directed and produced the documentary.
