Governor Wes Moore delivered remarks Friday at the Stand with Israel rally in Washington, DC. Speaking at the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, the Governor made clear that the State of Maryland stands with Israel, and he condemned the actions of the militant Hamas organization which targeted innocent civilians. Moore says the state recognizes Israel’s right to exist, defend itself, and live without fear. He says the attacks by Hamas last weekend were horrifying and defied every common principle of morality.
