The state tourism board is partnering up with Lehigh University to expand public awareness of the state’s Indian history. Officials have announced a program that will build specific projects that will emphasize tribal nations that once existed in Pennsylvania and its status as an ancestral homeland to the Delaware Nation of Oklahoma. State officials say they hope some of the projects will be finished before the state celebrations involving the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
