SIX MARYLAND RITE AID STORES PART OF BANKRUPTCY FILING

Rite Aid plans to close more than 150 stores across the country as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, and six of the stores are in Maryland.  Two Baltimore locations will be closing along with two in Glen Burnie and one each in Bel Air and Elkton. It’s estimated that the company lost more than one-billion-dollars in the months before filing for bankruptcy. There is no word yet on when the stores will be closing.
