Seventy-six-year-old Bedford County resident Nancy Focht was sentenced to life in prison for the fatal shooting of her husband in 2018. She was found guilty in September of the first-degree murder of her husband, David. She had argued that she was a victim of domestic violence, and that the shooting occurred in self-defense. During the trial, the prosecution emphasized she had reportedly changed her story several times. Ms. Focht will not be eligible for parole.
