A teenager is dead and three others were wounded in a shooting early Saturday morning in the Merchant’s Alley area of downtown Cumberland. Police arrived to a chaotic scene with the 17-year-old, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite aid at the scene, the victim died of his injuries at the hospital. Three additional victims, aged 20 to 24, were treated at UPMC-Western Maryland for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing and no arrests have been made.
