BALTIMORE CHURCH ALL BUT SHUT DOWN AFTER PASTOR DISMISSED

St. Benedict Catholic Church in Baltimore is all but shut down after its pastor was dismissed over repeated claims of sexual abuse.  The Baltimore Archdiocese said in a news release on Saturday that St. Benedict will permanently end Masses, worship, and administering the sacraments after Father Paschal Morlino was dismissed in mid-October.  The archdiocese said it’s now investigating a second allegation of sexual abuse of a minor against Morlino.  The archdiocese said it immediately reported the allegation to law enforcement when it was raised last week.
