The first of three public meetings with the PEIA Finance Board begins today in Wheeling. The topic up for discussion is the proposed rate increase for public employees enrolled in the insurance plan. The increases are set to go into effect next summer. Today’s meeting is at the Highland Event Center, starting at 5:00 p.m. Tomorrow the meeting will be in Martinsburg, and then Morgantown on Thursday.
