PROFESSOR URGES STATE TO REGULATE T.H.C. IN MARIJUANA IF STATE

LEGALIZES DRUG FOR ADULT USE

A Pennsylvania State University professor is urging lawmakers to regulate the concentration of chemical THC in marijuana if the state legalizes cannabis for adult use.  Dr. Kent Vrana, professor of pharmacology says THC is impairing and is addictive, points to a greater risk of schizophrenic behavior among adults if they were a heavy marijuana user in their teens, for example. Doctor Vrana also says lawmakers should investigate gummies because of their appeal to children.
