Governor Josh Shapiro has unveiled his administration’s new website for residents, businesses, charities and schools who miss filing points. People can use it to claim a refund on the governor’s money-back guarantee for delivering permits, licenses and certificates on time. The governor’s office says the effort is bringing transparency and accountability to permitting processes. Using Payback, Pennsylvania workers and businesses can also see the standard processing time for each application and request a refund if their application is not processed within that timeframe. Officials say about 70 percent of Commonwealth-issued permits, licenses, and certifications are eligible for a refund.
