MOORE PLEASED WITH NEW FEDERAL INVESTMENT FOR TRANSPORTATION

Governor Moore is praising the announcement of new federal funding to boost transportation in Maryland.  This comes after the Biden administration announced just shy of seven-billion-dollars to go towards Amtrak and MARC rail service.  It’ll directly help the City of Baltimore, as well as Cecil, Harford and Baltimore counties.  A large amount of the money will also be used to help create the Frederick Douglass Tunnel in the place of the B-and-P Tunnel.  The governor said this will help boost economic growth and produce jobs along the way.
